A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS...

Going into our fifth year of homeschooling, I've found a few things that are must-haves in our homeschool space. Some years we've had a designated homeschool room, while other years we've homeschooled at the dining room table. No matter where we've been, though, these items have been essential in making our life easier. You can click on the photos for a link to each item for more information.

These links are added for your convenience, and while these are affiliate links that earn me a very small portion, I recommend you shop around for the best deals, wherever that may be!

HOLLYHOME 3 TIER METAL CART

This cart has stood the test of two rowdy kids and two rambunctious pups. We use these carts for books and art supplies, and they keep all the clutter off the tables and floors. It comes in a variety of colors, so there's one to match any color scheme.

8" DESK GLOBE

There's no shortage of maps and atlases in our home, but we love our globes the best! They've been the most versatile, allowing the kids best visualize one location's proximity to another, time zones, degrees of longitude and latitude, understanding seasons, and there's no distortion.

ECHO SHOW

Having the Echo Show in our work space allows the kids to ask someone other than me all their questions. ; ) It's great for fast facts, spell checks, relaxing music, and even fun trivia!

EPSON ECOTANK ET-3760

We bought this printer this past school year, and it has exceeded my expectations! If you print a lot, or constantly find yourself NOT printing because you're trying to conserve ink, this is the printer for you!

PICTUREPEDIA

This picture encyclopedia is my favorite to pull off the shelf! It covers most every topic, and it's a wonderful tool to help you find information and inspiration.

MATH MANIPULATIVES

These math manipulatives have been our favorite, even into middle school. My kids even love playing with the math cubes outside of math lessons.

TICONDEROGA PENCILS

There are many things where brand doesn't matter for us, but pencils is not one of them. LOL. Paying a little extra is worth it when it comes to pencils. : )

BATH CADDY=BOOK ORGANIZER

This inexpensive bath caddy is the perfect coloring organizer! It travels all over the house with my daughter, wherever we decide to read books, and I haven't picked up a single coloring mess since we got it over a year ago!

DRY ERASE MARKERS

There's something about doing math problems on a window that makes it more bearable. We go through many dry erase markers in a year, but the cost is worth it when it means a more enjoyable school day!

NESPRESSO VERTUOPLUS

This one's for me! Someone gifted me this coffee maker a few years back, and I wasn't sure about the cost of the pods compared to the cost of my bags of coffee grounds. Plus, I wasn't a fan of Keurig coffee, but I was quickly sold on this machine! The coffee is excellent, and I love the ease of use compared to my old coffee maker!
